Data Collection & Assessment

Use both data points: probing depths with Overjet Vision AI bone levels to increase workflow of periodontal assessment.

Acquire radiographs as clinically indicated.

Assess for radiographic bone loss.

Radiographic bone loss: Consider SRP followed by 4910.

No radiographic bone loss with probe depths >= 4 mm: Consider 4346.

Complete comprehensive periodontal assessment:

  • Periodontal charting; Clinical attachment loss (CAL), probing depths >4 mm, bleeding on probing, exudate on probing, gingival recession, mobility, furcation involvement

  • Excessive calculus: Consider 4355.

  • Caries or Incipient Lesions: Consider fluoride, Curodont, SDF, or remineralization treatment.

  • Assess for Sealants: Apply on eligible unrestored teeth.

  • Obtain the insurance verification breakdown or view in Overjet RCM when available.

  • Document and chart findings in the patient chart.

Patient Education

  • Present Overjet-enhanced Vision AI x-rays to explain flagged areas (bone loss, caries, bone levels, progression).

  • Clarify treatment distinctions (e.g., 4346 vs 4342/4341) using visuals to build understanding and trust.

  • Introduce preventive or adjunctive therapies per practice protocol (fluoride, sealants, enamel therapies).

  • Reinforce rationale and next steps; answer patient questions before proceeding.

Treatment Delivery

  • Complete approved hygiene procedures.

  • Apply fluoride varnish or sealants as indicated.

  • Confirm all services are documented accurately with supporting Overjet imagery.

Handoff & Dismissal

  • Set up doctors for success by having the Overjet Vision AI images open for the doctor review.

  • Communicate findings concisely, highlighting treatment-ready areas.

  • Support the doctor in confirming and scheduling the plan.

  • Share or print annotated images for the patient when relevant.

  • Reinforce home-care guidance and schedule the next visit.

  • Record outcomes, code selections, and follow-ups in the patient chart notes.

Integration
